Actress Ellen White Leaves SDA Church Over Jewelry, Earrings, & Movie Industry. Come Out of Babylon

Kumawood actress Ellen White explains why she quit the SDA church. Kumawood is a privately owned movie and awards industry that is based in Kumasi, Ghana.

Popular Kumawood actress and producer, Ellen Kyei White has finally opened up on why as a staunch generational Adventist she abandoned the Seventh-day Adventist Church last year.

According to the Kumawood star, she left the Seventh Day Adventist Church simply because she could not do away with wearing earrings as the church demands.

Ellen White explained that although she was used to not wearing earrings, she found the love for it when she joined the movie industry and was asked to wear earrings on set.

“If you are acting in movies they want you to wear earrings and now I am unable to stop,” Ellen Kyei White explained.

She said she had no choice but to bow out of the church since she can’t follow the doctrines.

She, however, added that the SDA church is the kind of church you miss and have the feeling for even when you quit, so she might one day go back to the church. She just has to learn how to live without earrings.

“I have stopped but it is a church that if you stop, you still have some feeling for it so I will love to go back but the how to stop wearing the earring is my problem,” Ellen White said.

Through a series of divine interventions, God began calling David into the full-time ministry in 2006. At the time he was a legal service broker and on an ambitious path. Although he had other plans, David started responding to God’s call. He prayed, “Lord, if it isn’t your will I succeed, please don’t allow me to.” Listen to a brief portion of David’s story of how God led him where he is today.
